Our story

A legacy of excellence since 1954

Loena Luxury Suites represents the new phase of our established family business, which has deep roots in Thessaloniki’s entrepreneurial history. Since 1954, the Petkakis family has been building successful enterprises in the city, beginning with Sterlina – a pioneering textile manufacturing company that grew from a small workshop into a respected business serving all of Greece.

Evolution with the neighborhood

For nearly seven decades, our family business evolved alongside Thessaloniki itself. What began as manufacturing underwear and textiles in an industrial neighborhood gradually transformed as we established partnerships with major European brands like Adidas and Max Mara. Just as our entire neighborhood evolved from its industrial roots into a vibrant urban district, our building – once home to manufacturing operations – has been thoughtfully renovated to reflect the area’s sophisticated new character while honoring its heritage.

As the business landscape evolved, we recognized an opportunity to apply our family’s decades of experience in service excellence to the hospitality sector. Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, we offer complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi (100 Mbps) throughout the property.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged based on availability and may incur additional charges.

While we don’t have dedicated parking, we recommend the convenient Grand Parking Thessaloniki located just a short walk from our property.

We are centrally located with most major attractions within walking distance. The Tsimiski Shopping Area is 5 minutes away, Aristotelous Square is 8 minutes away.

We are happy to provide you with a Continental breakfast box in your room daily 08:30-10:30. The box includes fruit juice, yogurt, mini muffins, white and multigrain toast bread, gouda cheese slices, turkey slices, honey, strawberry jam, and butter.

We strive to accommodate all guests, however, we want to be transparent that our property has certain accessibility limitations. The building entrance includes several steps, and while there is an elevator, it has limited dimensions that may not accommodate all wheelchair types. We recommend contacting us directly before booking if you have specific mobility requirements so we can provide detailed information and discuss whether our accommodations will meet your needs.
