What this policy covers

This policy explains what is stored in your browser when you visit the Loena Luxury Suites website, and why. The site is operated by Christos Athan. Petkakis & Co E.E. (ΧΡΗΣΤΟΣ ΑΘΑΝ. ΠΕΤΚΑΚΗΣ ΚΑΙ ΣΙΑ Ε.Ε.), the company behind the five suites at 13 Ernestou Emprar, Ladadika, Thessaloniki (AMA registry 00002825758). Cookies here serve two purposes, and you choose each one separately. Measurement counts visits with Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Advertising measures the bookings our ads on Facebook and Instagram bring in, with the Meta pixel. Before you answer, no Google, Microsoft or Meta tool loads and no cookie is written. Two other third parties load inside them, and they are not gated alike. The Trustindex review widget loads only under Measurement. The OpenFreeMap tiles behind our location map set no cookies and do not wait for your answer. This page was updated on 25 October 2026.

Before you answer

On your first visit, a banner offers three controls, Reject all, Settings and Accept all. Until you answer, no script is requested from Google's, Microsoft's or Meta's servers, so none of them receives your IP address or the page you are reading. The page holds only a Google Consent Mode default with analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization all denied, ready for the day you allow a purpose. Reject all records your choice and no Google, Microsoft or Meta tool loads. Settings shows one switch per purpose, and both stay off until you turn one on. Our own booking statistics, described in the privacy policy, run whatever you answer, because they set no cookie and keep nothing on your device.

The two purposes

Measurement loads Google Analytics 4. It counts visits and pages, records clicks on our phone, WhatsApp, email and booking links, and passes its identifier with the click through to reserve-online.net, so the visit and the reservation count once and not twice. Google Analytics 4 neither logs nor stores IP addresses. Measurement also loads Microsoft Clarity, which records clicks, scrolling and pointer movement to build heatmaps and replays of a visit. Nothing you type into a field is recorded, and the contact form is masked from recordings as a whole. We tell Clarity you consented to measurement and never to advertising. The same choice loads the Trustindex review wall on the reviews page. Advertising loads the Meta pixel and nothing else. It sends Google nothing, and the ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization categories stay denied at all times. The pixel measures which visits from our ads on Facebook and Instagram end in an enquiry or a booking. It sends only the page view, a tap on the phone or WhatsApp, a sent contact form and the step into the booking engine, with no name, email, phone number or stay details. Meta may also use what it receives for its own purposes, such as improving how ads are delivered, under its own policy.

Exactly what is stored

Only the items below are stored on your device, and Google's, Microsoft's and Meta's cookies only for the purpose you allowed. The lifetimes are each company's defaults.

  • loena-cookie-consent, ours, strictly necessary. A localStorage entry holding your choice per purpose, the date and time, the version of this policy, the language and the control you used, as the record of your consent. It is not a cookie, holds no personal data and stays until you clear it. When the policy changes, we ask again.
  • loena_fp_vid, ours, visit statistics. A localStorage entry holding a random code that tells your browser apart in our own statistics. It is not a cookie and stays until you clear it.
  • loena_fp_sid, ours, visit statistics. A sessionStorage entry holding a random code that joins the pages of one visit. It is deleted when you close the tab.
  • loena_qa, ours. A localStorage entry written only on our own devices, so our own visits are not counted as guests.
  • _ga, Google Analytics 4, Measurement. Tells one visitor from another. Lifetime 2 years.
  • _ga_5FQSEW25BY, Google Analytics 4, Measurement. Keeps the state of the visit. Lifetime 2 years.
  • _clck, Microsoft Clarity, Measurement. Keeps the identifier Clarity gives a visitor. Lifetime 1 year.
  • _clsk, Microsoft Clarity, Measurement. Joins the pages of one visit into one recording. Lifetime 1 day.
  • _fbp, Meta pixel, Advertising. Tells your browser apart for measuring our ads. Lifetime 90 days.
  • _fbc, Meta pixel, Advertising. Written only when you arrive from a click on one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, and holds that click's identifier. Meta sets its lifetime.
  • Microsoft's cookies on its own domains, such as CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR and SM on clarity.ms and bing.com, Measurement. They may be written when Clarity loads, under Microsoft's privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com).
  • Meta's cookies on its own domains, such as fr on facebook.com, Advertising. They may be read or written when the pixel loads. fr lasts 90 days under Meta's cookie policy (facebook.com/privacy/policies/cookies).

Booking and external services

Rates, availability, and rate-specific cancellation terms live on our booking engine at reserve-online.net (WebHotelier). When you start a booking, you leave this website, and the engine's own cookie and privacy practices apply. Its reservation and payment forms necessarily use their own technical cookies. The same applies when you open WhatsApp to message us: the conversation happens inside WhatsApp, under its terms. This page covers only what happens on our own site; we recommend reviewing those services' policies separately.

The guest-review wall

The reviews page shows a wall of guest reviews collected by Trustindex, a third-party service. Its script loads from cdn.trustindex.io only if you have allowed Measurement, so nothing reaches Trustindex from a visitor who refuses it or has not answered. If you allow it, Trustindex receives the request that loads the widget and may store its own data in your browser under its own policy. Otherwise the wall does not appear at all.

The location map

The home page, the suite page and the contact page each show a map of where we are. Its tiles come from tiles.openfreemap.org, a free community map service. The map sets no cookies. It loads the moment you scroll it into view and does not wait for your answer to the banner, so OpenFreeMap receives your IP address, your browser and the fact that tiles around this part of the city were requested. If you never scroll that far, no request is made.

Changing your mind

The Cookie choices link in the footer of every page opens your settings with your current choice, and one switch withdraws a purpose as easily as you gave it. When you switch a purpose off, we delete its Google, Clarity and Meta cookies from loenasuites.com and tell Clarity and Meta the consent is withdrawn, and if one of its tools has already loaded, the page reloads without it. Withdrawing does not affect what was measured before. Your choice stays in your browser and we keep no copy on a server of ours. Clearing this site's data in your browser settings works too, and you can block cookies for this site entirely. Every page keeps working without them.
