The centre beats the ring road
Thessaloniki works all year on conferences, trade fairs and corporate meetings. Most offices and meeting points sit around Tsimiski and Aristotelous Square. From a hotel on the ring road or out by the airport, every appointment costs a taxi, a guess at the traffic and a safety margin in the diary. From Ladadika the same distances are minutes on foot. You come down from the fourth floor at 13 Ernestou Emprar and you are already where the work is. That buys back the hours a working day loses to moving, and it leaves room between two meetings for a walk along the water.
